Kids Stomp on Tobacco
The Kids Stomp On Tobacco Program has received significant multi-year support with funding from the County of San Diego Tobacco Control Resource Program. The grant will keep the Lung Express rolling to schools in San Diego County and underwrite a specially-focused curriculum for 4th and 5th graders. After the Lung Express visits a school, kids will have follow-up lessons about the effects of tobacco and the tricks of tobacco advertising. They will also be asked to share anti-tobacco materials with their families, and ask parents or guardians to pledge that they won't smoke indoors or in closed vehicles.
